Urban Forest Analytics LLC was founded at the end of 2011 with Jerry Bond as principal consultant. Jerry is an ISA Certified Arborist (NY 1109-AQ) with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (2012-2023), and has twenty-five years of experience as a consultant in urban forestry. After a successful career as a university professor, he returned to school to earn a degree from Cornell’s Urban Horticulture Institute. He worked with a university Extension service, a major Northeast consulting group and a small consulting firm before starting his current position.

Current research
Following up on a popular article, we are now working on a book about estimating tree load in collaboration with engineering colleagues. It will be similar in format to our Urban Tree Health with clear text and images.
